Care Instructions
1) Always store your Dokra artefact in a dry place, away from moisture, to prevent corrosion.
2) Dust your Dokra figurine with a soft, clean cotton cloth (e.g., a handkerchief). Use a soft toothbrush or paintbrush for crevices. Avoid fibrous dusters to prevent fibers from getting stuck.
3) To enhance lustre, apply a small amount of brass polish (e.g., Brasso) to a soft cloth and rub gently. Wipe with a fresh, soft cloth afterward. Alternatively, use a paste of lemon juice and baking soda or a small amount of toothpaste. Rinse gently and clean with a soft cloth.
4) Do not use water or liquid cleaners, as they may corrode the metal.
5) Appreciate the Patina: Patina is a natural greenish-brown layer that forms on brass over time due to exposure to oxygen. It often enhances the dokra figurine's beauty and charm, so avoid over-cleaning to preserve it.
