She realised that the best lessons, and probably the only ones that prepare you for the world, come from the wild and she started doing little notes and sketches for her nieces, about how to how to stand tall despite it all, that humans and animals are better together, that the finest things in life are outside our phones, that whale song can transform our playlists, and even that some of us are just too cute for Mondays. 

Thus, Snaggletooth took root.
